This article presents the results of an investigation by the National University of Comahue (UNCo) located in the Norpatagonia Argentina. We have investigated on the representations and prospects practices of students of teachers and teachers, in its first year in offi ce of teaching, on the teaching of recent History/Present (HRP). The analysis of the research was held in three phases. In the fi rst discussed of social representations and Prospects practices of the students of teachers. In the second, the practice of education in initial teacher training and fi nally addressed the analysis of the practice of the teacher in its first year of teaching.
