The different perception students and teachers have of the school activity becomes an important obstacle for the achievement of a good learning. However, what the students keep in mind of the baccalaureate History classes shows us that there is a common interest in the knowledge of the historical memory. This article wants to offer an international view of what teachers expect a good History teaching to be and its contrast with the things that students remember of their teachers and their classes.
