Cities of cinema, the case of Barcelona. A good example of creative industry

The relationship between the cinema and the city have been widely studied and analyzed, highlighting the role played by the city as a center of production and diffusion, as a scenario and as an environment. The aim of this paper is to make a reflection on those relations under two perspectives. On the one hand, the role that cultural and creative industries play today in the city and its economy. And in the other hand, the use of films as tools to promote tourism in the cities. Barcelona is the study case.
