Anàlisi de les necessitats de llengua anglesa dels estudiosos

La llengua anglesa s’ha generalitzat com a llengua franca de l’educació superior. També és un mitjà clau per a la internacionalització universitària, la mobilitat acadèmica i estudiantil, i per als investigadors individuals, una eina per establir la seva reputació acadèmica. L’estudi té com a objectiu determinar les necessitats d’anglès del professorat com ara: a) motius per saber anglès, b) el nivell de competències de L2 segons el MECR, i c) les competències lingüístiques per al futur. Els resultats mostren que els participants necessiten saber anglès per comunicar-se eficaçment en contextos professionals, publicar però també llegir revistes i escriure ressenyes. El nivell global de les competències de la llengua anglesa varia entre B1 i B2, i parlar i escriure es consideren competències importants. L’estudi confirma la necessitat de millorar les habilitats productives del professorat per satisfer les grans demandes de publicacions en revistes estrangeres i permetre la col·laboració científica internacional i la mobilitat acadèmica, tot això requereix un alt domini lingüístic.

Katarzyna Morena, Pedagogical University of Krakow

A lecturer at University of the National Education Commission in Krakow, in the department of English studies. PhD in applied linguistics since October 2021. The research interests include motivation to learn foreign languages, autonomy, and academic teachers.
