Inclusion criteria and Editorial Board

RACO (Catalan Open Access Journals) is a cooperative open access repository where full-text articles from scientific, cultural and scholar Catalan journals can be accessed. Accepted journals are those that comply with the following inclusion criteria:

  • Table of contents included
  • Articles have more than 3-4 pages, and are signed by the author
  • Published by a Catalan scientific, cultural or scholar Institution, or his language is Catalan or his content it’s about history or Catalan culture

 

To join RACO, your journal must be evaluated by the Editorial Board, which will check that it meets all the requirements.

If you want to present your journal, you must formally request it via email at raco@csuc.cat by filling in the form that you can download from the following link.

If a journal meets the inclusion criteria above and is therefore approved by the Editorial Board, its integration in RACO is formalized as follows:

  1. A collaboration agreement must be signed by both the publisher institution and the sponsoring institutions of RACO
  2. Publisher must obtain the authors’ permission to include their articles in this repository
  3. CBUC staff trains the Publisher staff about data submission and customization
  4. Journal page at RACO is customized by the Publisher
  5. For each new issue of the journal, the Publisher submits TOC and full text articles files, using a web form placed at the RACO intranet. If possible, backfiles should also be submitted
