Collaborations

RACO is based on the OJS software, created for journal management and publication. It allows efficient management of the editorial process, from manuscripts submission to publication, through peer review, correction, etc.

The CSUC, through RACO, aligns with major European efforts to promote diamond open access.
Since 2022, it has adhered to the Diamond Open Access Action Plan, which sets out a common agenda to foster this publishing model.
Since 2025, it has also been listed in the European Diamond Capacity Hub (EDCH), established within the framework of the DIAMAS and CRAFT-OA projects, which coordinate key actors to strengthen the technical, organizational, and collaborative infrastructure.

Participating institutions using RACO Avançat or RACO Professional can assign DOIs to the articles in their journals. To create the persistent identifiers, we rely on DataCite, a non-profit organization that aims to increase the visibility of the research.

These journals also have available the Altmetric tool in their article pages. It uses the DOI to show altmetrics based on the citations received from social media.

RACO’s documents are available at OpenAIRE. OpenAIRE is a technical infrastructure that collects research results from connected data providers. It aims to establish an infrastructure of scholarly communication, open and sustainable, responsible for global management, analysis, and manipulation, and as a link for all the research results.

RACO’s documents can also be found through different search engines and science aggregators at international, Spanish and Catalan level, which facilitate research tasks. These search engines and aggregators that collect RACO content are: Google Scholar, OAIster, RECOLECTA, Hispana, and Catalònica.

RACO participates, by providing access links to the articles, in the project called AINA. This project creates the necessary digital linguistic resources to ease the development of applications based on artificial intelligence and language technology, such as voice assistants, automatic translators, or conversational agents in Catalan.

Access to RACO journals is also available through the University Union Catalogue of Catalonia (CCUC).
