The analysis and reflections of the poem "Llanura de Tuluá" by Fernando Charry Lara presented in this paper begin with a brief biographical reference of the author and a description of the theme and context of the poem in question, then appears the description of the structure of the poem in its different levels: phonic-phonological, morphosyntactic, lexico-semantic, all accompanied by the key annotations on the meaning that their statements convey. Finally, some of the constructions about the global meaning of the poem's content are presented, explaining the world view that it contains as a poetic narrative and its reason for being before the reader.
