En aquest article es recupera la fundació de l’Editorial Titikaka i les seves contribucions al desenvolupament del grup intel·lectual i artístic Orkopata per formar part del moviment d'avantguarda internacional. Aquesta nova editorial va publicar el seu butlletí i els llibres de poemes Ande d'Alejandro Peralta i Falo d’Emilio Armaza. S'explica el sorgiment i la desaparició de l'editorial tenint en compte les condicions materials dels anys vint. Per aquesta raó, pren importància el projecte de modernització capitalista emprès pel govern d'Augusto B. Leguía (1919-1930) al Perú. Se sosté que les polítiques del seu govern van propiciar l'aparició, crisi i tancament de diverses editorials i revistes de Lima i províncies.
