La Habana: testigo de la Historia en la obra de Leonardo Padura

Leonardo Padura es uno de los autores cubanos más reconocidos en la actualidad. Sus novelas, principalmente detectivescas, narran lo que ha sido la vida social, y hasta económica, de la Cuba pre y post revolución. Al hacer esto se le puede considerar un escritor-historiador por su manera de usar la Historia. Sin embargo, uno de los aspectos interesantes de su estilo, y que lo diferencia de otros, es su uso de la ciudad para ilustrar la Historia contemporánea de Cuba a la vez que cuenta sus historias. La Habana con sus barrios, sus calles y su gente, delimitan la Historia y las historias cubanas en los textos de este autor.
