Aquest article presenta l'obra de Victoria Guerrero (Lima, 1968), una de les veus més singulars i potents de la poesia peruana actual, postulant que l'escriptura que proposa, nodrida per l'energia i les conquestes de les avantguardes i neoavantguardes, pels seus somnis de comunió d'art i vida, però des del desencant i la resistència, úniques línies de conducta i de paraula en el naixent segle XXI peruà i globalitzat produeix noves coordenades per la poesia en la conjugació de l'exigència d'una consciència eticopolítica i d'una afirmació genèrica.
