Reescribir la historia, reivindicar la identidad: lecturas femeninas del periodo colonial a través de la escritora Teresa de la Parra

El artículo analiza el ensayo «Influencia de las mujeres en la formación del alma americana» de la escritora venezolana Teresa de la Parra desde un punto de vista histórico, identitario y de género. Se propone que Parra problematiza la representación de la historia colonial desde una perspectiva femenina y subalterna, trazando una narración que polemiza con el discurso de la historia oficial y que pone al centro el rol de los sujetos acallados por esta. A partir de tal ejercicio, no solo propone releer la historia desde una perspectiva de género, sino también redefinir la identidad del continente.
