El texto es un testimonio del itinerario de la autora a partir de su descubrimiento en la infancia de los mitos clásicos, que coincide con el descubrimiento de los distintos niveles de la lengua, y prosigue con el acercamiento al mundo mítico prehispánico. La realidad de los mitos y su persistencia en busca de nuevas voces se vuelve la materia de la propia escritura ficcional y de exploraciones en el campo de la imagen, experiencia aquí ilustrada a través de sus microrrelatos (tomados por lo general de R. Campra, Mínima Mitológica) y poemas (R. Campra, Moradas de los Mayores).
