El siguiente artículo aborda la manera en que las personas se apropian de las representaciones del narcotráfico desde la música. El ciclo de producción de la música comercial se sintetiza en el consumo, ya que es en el disfrute de los escuchas que se cumple gran parte de su cometido. Sin embargo, quienes asisten a eventos musicales donde se tocan narcocorridos, no necesariamente concuerdan con el mundo de vida de los narcotraficantes. A través de un registro etnográfico de espacios donde se tocan narcocorridos en Mexicali, México, atenderé a la pregunta sobre qué hace disfrutable a la narcomúsica.
