En este artículo se hace un recorrido por la obra de Lezama con el objeto de analizar la influencia de la cultura inglesa en el desarrollo de su obra. Esta investigación viene a destacar la importancia de los referentes literarios que inspiraron su pensamiento creador, a la vez que establece un nuevo punto de partida para el estudio de su narración y ensayística teniendo en cuenta las fuentes que potenciaron su imaginación.
