La concepción sobre el satélite terrestre en la época pre-hispánica en el antiguo Perú es definitivamente poliformal o polifáisca en cuanto al género sexual mítico de los cuerpos celestes. Este artículo recoge algunas referencias a la luna el Manuscrito de Huarochirí y otros documentos coloniales para analizar los valores de la luna como mito arqueo-astronómico.
