The objective of the final project summarised in this paper is to explore the different materials and methods of reintegration used to structure the original texture lost in a painting on canvas, from the reintegration modeling paste itself. This alternative to the reintegration of the surface of a painting on canvas using stucco, would restore the original material capacity of the modeling paste, maintaining its chromaticity, and would allow the reintegration stucco to only structure the missing part of the preparatory layer in as close a manner as possible to the original material.
