Mediciones de fincas, planos geométricos y evaluación de la riqueza territorial de la provincia de Tarragona (1846-1892)

The management of the Land Tax implanted in the province of Tarragona
between the year 1845 and 1895 had been made with territorial statistics and
cadastral cartography. The investigation has revealed the surveys and other
statistical registers of the municipalities. The territorial statistic and the cadastral
maps constituted useful instruments to the service of the management of
the land tax. These maps and the territorial information were a local initiative
of the municipalities. The cadastral operations had one local scale, with the
objective to distribute with equity the municipal quota.
