L'ús de les TIC en la difusió arqueològica a Catalunya : museus, exposicions i jaciments arqueològics

The use of ICT in the dissemination and didactics of archaeological heritage in Catalonia is still at its initial stages. There is a long way to cover compared to other countries in Western Europe. Nevertheless, there has been quite interesting initiatives in the last years that make us quite optimistic with regards to its future. The present paper attemps to provide a general outlook of the introduction of ICT in our archaelogical institutions. Virtual reality, Internet and mobile devices will be some of the issues covered in the text and how we envisage their development in the near future.
