This work studies the diary life of the Santo Domingo University in the second part of the XVIII century. It includes the development of its studies, the tights between the friars and the seculars, the festivals and the amusements, the differents models of education in this University and the struggles that cause the postulates of renovation and the reforms of the Enlightenment.
