This article is focussed on the migration process of Saraguro women, the indigenous group from Ecuador, and their experiences in their host country, Spain according to their specific narratives. Using oral sources, we study first their initial journey in Ecuador from their borne town to the capital, to continue with the analysis of their experiences in Spain, in the Region of Murcia. With this article we try to explain the reason for this migration and to analyze the process of adaptation of these women to a foreign culture.
