"Bailarinas y amas de casa": divisiones sociales en el mercado transnacionalizado y representaciones de género

In this paper I pretend to contribute from the feminist critizism to the analysis of the current transnational movements, showing at the same time the cultural representations imbricated in the social divisions of work. Once I have analyzed the context of exclusions of the citizenship related with the structuration oft the market and s[ate in function of the differentiations of strangership, gender and country of origin, then I analize the cultural representations relative to sexual work division in conexion with international migrations. This work is based on an etnographic study done in the southwest of the Dominican Republic and in the city of Madrid.
