This paper approaches to the fundamental aspects in tire historical formation of public opinion in Peru starting from the study of the enlighten press in later XVIIIth century and the newspapers that circulated in the two liberal moments that took place between 1810 to 1814 and 1820 to 1821. Especially, this reflection aboards the networks promoted by this media through their printing, spreading, consumption, and reading in the public and private spaces. At last, this paper discusses the concept of informative “unanimity” used by François-Xavier Guerra lo characterize the Spanish American case.
