This article presents the Catalan translation of Sh. Y. Agnons short
story Tehilah, plus a study of the life and work of the great Israeli writer and winner
of the Nobel Prize in Literature.Agnons works reflect his perception of being Jewish in a deeply troubled world.
They express the mystery of God and the meaning of Jewish life in a singular fashion,
using Hebrew of tremendous linguistic richness and a surprising literary style
which make him unique as a writer in the history of Hebrew literature.
