Duplo R. Experiencia de dinamización lingüística para a poboación xuvenil viguesa

Duplo R is a language promotion programme of Vigo City Councils Linguistic Normalisation Service and its aim is to promote the use of the Galician language among young people. Although most young people in Vigo have a positive attitude towards Galician and know how to speak it, they do not generally use it. Duplo R bases its action on the combination of two clearly distinct forms of music regueifa and rap in order link tradition to modernity and establish a different conception of the Galician language. In this way, young people of Vigo learn and use Galician while playing and enjoying themselves. This leads to the achievement of the programmes goal of fostering the use of Galician among them.
