Results obtained from the continued use of a sugar trap (Lepidoptera).

These are the main results obtained after having used a "sugar trap" for collecting heterocera for long periods of time. The test was always conducted at the same place, located in the NE of the Iberian Peninsula (Osona, Barcelona), during 1983-84-87-88 and especially 1989. The author would like to emphasize the great possibilities, usually underestimated, that this procedure offers.
