Continental China and Taiwan have politically lived separated by 1949 but their economic evolution toward the modernity has shown, in the last period, an unusual parallelism. Common Confucian culture has favored a substantial solidarity between the superior classes and those subordinate, determining a lot of similarities in the economic evolution and in that social. The extreme efficiency shown from both the Countries, simply in the difference of dimensions, leaves to expect possible further developments, of large influence on the entire future world.
