L'ultim sopar i l'acte redemptor

Affirming the redemptive character of the death of Jesus poses the question of therelationship between the Jesus of history and the Christ of faith. This article looksat the texts with the narrative of the Last Supper and considers the meaning of theterms contained within it, in particular ‘kingdom’ and ‘covenant’. This leads to aseven-fold conclusion that points to a connection between the Last Supper and theredemptive intentionality of salvation through Jesus.
