Comparison between the coverage of the attacks in Paris and those in Nigeria (3-14 January 2015) in El País, El Mundo and The New York Times

This research analyzed the treatment and the coverage that two Islamist attacks received, in France and Nigeria. The sample is of 139 news, that correspond to El Mundo, El País and The New York Times; and the period of study is from January 3, 2015 to January 14, 2015. A lapse of time that coincides with the attacks perpetrated against Paris, on January 7 and 9, 2015, and with the offensive of the terrorist group Boko Haram against the population of Baga on January 3, 2015.
