Soldier of God : deconstruction of a prophetic character similar to his antagonist

This article is an audiovisual text analysis of Machine Gun Preacher (2011). The transformation of the protagonist and the characteristics of the characters, several specific technical elements of the representation and the basic methods of identification in the reception are studied, to expose and question the similarities between protagonist and antagonist.
