Diseño de un modelo para el análisis de la sostenibilidad en la Cuenca Hidrográfica del río Caroní en la Guayana Venezolana

The sustainability of the Caroní river basin, located in the Venezuelan Guiana was evaluated by using indicators and indexes that gave account of its intervention due to the small-scale mining activities. There were designed statistical models that showed the relationships between variables that make clear the degree of environmental deterioration. There were built scenarios where the river basin sustainability was quantified through models and relationships.
