De la producció al consum i del consum a la producció

There is a traditional and current tendency to split up the production field and the consumption field, considering them like two different and independent research fields. This separation happens both in the empirical studies and in the theoretical propositions. From economic theories, which have basically focused on studying production, and which have always approached consumption subordinating it to production, to more sociological perspectives, structural first and postmodernist later, which have focused on the study of consumption, there have been no attempts to approach these two fields. The article is an attempt to see how these two fields of social reality are related and how evolution and transformation in one of them have influenced and conditioned transformations and changes in the other.
