El presente volumen de Revista CIDOB d’Afers Internacionals se propone contribuir a colmar este hueco en la literatura académica, interrogándose sobre los «otros efectos» de las sanciones internacionales. Unos efectos que no son solo perceptibles en el Estado receptor, sino también en terceros estados o, incluso, en el Estado emisor. Este número especial reúne ocho contribuciones que examinan estos otros efectos. Algunos artículos son de carácter más general, mientras que otros estudian estas dinámicas en profundidad con estudios de caso.
