Apropiación de la naturaleza en una comunidad afrodescendiente del Pacífico colombiano: Un modelo de flujos de bienes

From an economic and ecological model that estimates the appropriation of nature, based on the concept of social
metabolism of Toledo, this article discusses the use and transformation of nature in the territory of San Marcos, in the
Colombian South Pacific. Through interviews with key informants and participant observation, this paper analyses the
productive and extractive practices of Afro-descendants’ households located in the San Marcos area during the beginning
of the second decade of the 21st century.
