Reduccions està dedicada a la poesia, als aspectes que s'hi relacionen i a l'actualitat literària. El primer número va aparèixer el gener de 1977 i des d'aleshores ha estat un punt de referència obligat de l'activitat poètica al nostre país. Publica textos de la poesia actual i n'examina les tendències, però també inclou assajos sobre la poesia de tots els temps i publica textos inèdits d'autors coneguts. Incorpora al nostre àmbit lingüístic autors i aspectes de l'activitat poètica a l'estranger, tant en estudis com en traduccions.
