Controles de gestão atrelados ao gerenciamento de risco: uma análise das produções científicas brasileiras sob a perspectiva de redes sociais

This paper aims to verify some characteristics of scientific works concerning to the controls applied in risk management activities: main authors; most cited authors and works; co-authorship networks; subject areas; and standard structures. Regarding to the objectives, the methodology of the work is descriptive; in relation to the procedures, this is a documental research; regarding to data analysis, the research is qualitative. In relation to the social network analysis method, we choose to explore co-authorship networks. The universe of the study is constituted by the 15 most important Brazilian scientific periodicals in the fields of business management and accounting. We found a little number of published works and a low density in the co-authorship networks. In general, the authors don’t sustain their research initiatives very long. We conclude the research field needs more investments in order to become a permanent field and to produce a more appropriate number of published scientific works.
