A late-medieval cavalry pendant from the Castell d’Alcalà (Benissili, Alicante)

In 2017, it was deposited in the Museu Arqueològic d’Alcoi a set of archaeological materials from a private collection, among which there where several pottery elements, and also metallic ones. Among the latter elements, we would emphasize de presence of a cavalry pendant, which we study in these pages. The finding of some new horse ornaments is important because of the small amount of these kind of pieces found in the province of Alicante.
