A study of the ornaments of the first agricultura1 and cattle societies (Fifth millennium and the first half of the Fourth millenium before Christ) proceeding from 20 archaelogical sites of the Valencian Country, standing out among them all those ornamental sets from the caves de l'Or, de la Sarsa, de les Cendres and Fosca.
The 1.477 ornaments (beads, pendant, rings, bracelets, disks and plaques) are analyzed by means of typological data cards which synthesize the mrophometric features, of raw materials, technological as well as its chronological attribution and parallels.
With this base, we state the background, typological and raw material features (animal hard material, minerals and pottery) and also the evolution of Neolithic I ornaments, while reflecting on the aesthetic and symbolic language of the same.
