The Bronze Age in the southern Valencian lands; new data on the human occupation at La Canal rural area (Alcoi-Xixona, Alicante)

In this paper we present three new Bronze Age sites found during an archaeological prospecting survey at La Canal rural area (Alcoi-Xixona, Alicante).
The documentation of these sites, together with the ones already known, let us make some considerations on the occupation and exploitation of the territory
during the II-I millennium B. C. in this area.
