ENG: The current shape on the outskirts of Cordoba is the result of multiple logics of action on the urban edge, over the history of the
city. Their understanding requires knowledge of theories, social demands, and the specific processes involved, considering the risk
associated with generic approaches, and interpretations scarcely rooted in local spatial reality. Therefore, the article examines the process
of building in the suburban areas of Córdoba, considering both urban planning and the concrete practices on the space.
