Los estudios epigráficos. Cuestión de métodos interdisciplinares

This work presents a series of reflections on the concept of epigraphy as far as its relationship to other sciences is concerned. Its aim should be the integral study of inscriptions, both as regards their formal aspects (the material support and type of writing) and functional ones, as well as their contents and historical and cultural context. For this reason, an interdisciplinary approach making use of the various related fields of knowledge, ranging from palaeography to linguistics, should be applied.
