La iconografía de Centcelles. Enigmas sin resolver

After the publication in 1988 of the great posthumous work of Schlunk, the interest for finding the right interpretation of the scenes represented in the mosaics of the room VII dome of Centcelles has increased. The bad state of conservation of these mosaics makes practically impossible to attain a clear and definitive solution, and it demands the scholars to accurately abide by the scarce existent iconographic data. The present paper tries to summarize and to value the different hypotheses proposed. Among them, that of Warland seems to be the most acceptable, although it is not exempt of objections.
