In the name of the "brasileirinhos": strategies for construction identity Brazilian in Europa

This paper presents partial results of the research of PhD of Social and Cultural Anthropology of the University Autonomous of Barcelona (ES), in which I seek to analyze the socio-cultural profiles of Brazilian immigrants who constitute associations abroad, with the motivation to promote the called "Heritage Language" for their children abroad. I seek to explore the conceptualizations and imaginaries about the culture and language of origin elaborated and transmitted by these agents, as well as to observe the new formats of political action in the name of projects of identity and difference in migratory contexts and mobilities involving Brazilians. Such a scenario, leads me to think that the realization of such projects is not only a moment of socialization for their children, but also a way of legitimizing, visibilizing and empowering Brazilian mothers in the migratory context.
