"Mamita: protect us from the Pandemia". A digital ethnography of the mass on Facebook in southwestern Colombia

This article analyses, by means of an ethnographic study carried out on the Facebook page of a Catholic shrine located in southwestern Colombia, the streaming of a religious ritual and the participation of believers in that rite as a sociocultural response to the Coronavirus Pandemic. From a Digital studies perspective, I reflect on how a digital platform can shape and change individual beliefs and practices and how they are renegotiated.
