Anthropology of the Great Myths: Dracula

“Dracula” is the first article in a series entitled Los grandes mitos, published by Triunfo magazine between 1973 and 1974. The text consists of an anthropological and psychoanalytic reading of Bram Stoker's novel of the same title published in 1898. The author interprets the vampire myth in the light of Totem and Taboo, one of Sigmund Freud's most anthropological works.
