The actual border between Catalonia and Aragon is a result of an historical process. Population movements and their economic, social, political and cultural implications are part of its origins. This article focusses on the study of the different kinds of population movements in Early Modern Times and their implications in the making of the line of separation between the Principality of Catalonia and the Kingdom of Aragon.
