De les migracions líquides a l'arrelament. Projectes d'ancoratge al lloc de destinació en la recent emigració espanyola a Europa

L'emigració espanyola cap a Europa, sorgida després de la crisi econòmica de 2008, es va descriure com una migració fluida i transitòria, coneguda com a migració líquida. En efecte, el punt de partida d'aquesta mobilitat per a molts joves espanyols estava marcat per processos com l'emancipació familiar, l'ampliació d'estudis o la incorporació al mercat laboral. Ja ha passat més d'una dècada des que alguns d'aquests joves van marxar i van protagonitzar una transició entre la joventut i la maduresa. Aquest article analitza quins motius han provocat la transició vital des d'un projecte migratori temporal cap a una migració permanent, una qüestió que ha rebut menys atenció en la literatura acadèmica. L'ancoratge pot ser degut a  tres motius: a la consolidació laboral i econòmica, a qüestions vinculades al cicle de vida familiar (tenir parella i fills al lloc de destinació) i també a causes involuntàries que fan impossible el retorn a Espanya. La metodologia utilitzada és de caràcter qualitatiu i analitzarà 38 entrevistes en profunditat a persones emigrants espanyoles residents al Regne Unit i a França amb un projecte migratori de permanència.

Belén Fernández-Suárez, Universidade da Coruña

Belén Fernández-Suárez és professora contractada doctora de Sociologia a la Universitat de la Corunya. És membre de l'Equip de Recerca Societats en Moviment (ESOMI). Les seves línies de recerca se centren en les polítiques migratòries i, especialment, en les polítiques d'integració d'immigrants i en les migracions intraeuropees. Actualment és investigadora principal del projecte R + D + I Reptes (2020-2024): Integració i retorn de la «nova emigració espanyola». (EMIGRAREIN, PID2019-105041RA-I00).

Alberto Capote Lama, Departamento de Geografía Humana

Alberto Capote Lama és Professor Titular en el Departament de Geografia Humana de la Universitat de Granada. Les seves recerques giren entorn de les migracions internacionals, particularment la immigració marroquina en diferents contextos locals a Espanya i França, i l'emigració espanyola recent. Paral·lelament, també ha realitzat estudis sobre la geografia de la població a Espanya entorn de la despoblació i l'envelliment. Ha realitzat diferents estades de recerca al Marroc (Universitat de Casablanca Hassan II) i a França (Géographie cités Paris; INED-Institut National Études Demographiques), entre altres destins. Exerceix la seva docència en els graus d'Antropologia Social i Cultural i Geografia i gestió del territori.

Iria Vázquez-Silva, Departamento de Sociología

Iria Vázquez Silva és doctora en Sociologia per la Universitat de la Corunya i especialista en Estudis de Gènere per la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Actualment és professora de Sociologia a la Universitat de Vigo i subdirectora del Grup d'Estudis en Treball Social: Recerca i Transferència (GETS- IT). La seva línia de recerca actual és la sociologia de les migracions i del gènere.
