The focus of this paper is on the techno-medial characteristics of Internet, computer-mediated communication and the new media. The analyze of this characteristics works with respect of its potentials for socio-cultural transformation. The leading question for the necessary considerations is: How to elaborate an adequate framework for the reflection of the conditions and consequences of these socio-cultural transformation?
