El concepto άïδιον en el capítulo octavo del libro Lambda de la Metaphysica de Aristóteles

The eighth chapter of book L could be one of the most paradigmatic writings contained in the Metaphysics. The most widely spread interpretation of this chapter is proposed by W. Jaeger, who identifies a logic contradiction between the content of this chapter and the rest of the book. This leads him to the conclusion that the text is a neoplatonic writing which was later added. Personally, I think that through the understanding of the Aristotelian concept άϊδιον it is possible to clarify this apparently contradictory relation.
