Xylaria putaminum (Ascomycota, Xylariaceae) recorded in Sevilla (SW Spain). In
this paper the author describes the teleomorph and the anamorph of Xylaria putaminum Maire &
Durieu, the first record of this taxon in the European continent. The collected stromata grown
caespitose on old olives under Olea europaea var. sylvestris. Chorological and ecological data are also
provided.
