Analysis of corpora as a qualitative research method for developing exams: the example of the C2 level test

This article explains the need to work with spoken and written linguistic corpora to develop levels of competence based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) for one language in particular. It also describes the empirical research phase of the development project for the C2-level test, focusing on the analysis of real samples from learners.
